Robert W. Anderson, Ph.D.

Counseling Psychologist

   Dr. Robert W. Anderson has been actively involved in the delivery of behavioral health services for 40 years. His areas of interest include Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Substance Use Disorders, Interpersonal Relationships/Communication, and Veterans' Issues. He works primarily with adults.

   He is a member of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy, the Anxiety Disorder Associations of America, and the American Psychological Association. He also holds a certificate of proficiency in the treatment of alcohol and other psychoactive substance use disorders.

Ruth Van Wie, LMHC

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

   Ms. Ruth Van Wie is a New York State licensed mental health counselor who has worked in the mental health profession for over 30 years and specializes in work with children with emotional and behavioral problems.

   Her particular areas of interest include Interpersonal Relationships and Communication, Mood Disorders, Posttraumatic Stress, Crisis Intervention, and Testing/Evaluation of Children and Adults.

Scott R. Anderson, Ph.D.

Clinical Psychologist

   Dr. Scott R. Anderson received his Ph.D. in Psychology (clinical track) from Virginia Tech. He completed his predoctoral internship with the United States Air Force in San Antonio, Texas. For 3 years, he worked with military children and families stationed in the United Kingdom before completing a postdoctoral fellowship in integrated primary care at Geisinger Health System in Pennsylvania.

   Dr. Anderson has had extensive training in and experience with behavioral interventions, parent management strategies, and consultation with schools and medical providers. He specializes in using evidence-based treatments and evidence-informed strategies in addressing a variety of behavioral health concerns, including Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders, depression, sleep problems, disruptive behaviors, and high-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorders. Dr. Anderson works with children, adolescents, and adults.

Hours are by appointment only Monday thru Friday. Evenings available.
